Fluss und Brücke, so steht es in den Reiseführern, gaben Innsbruck seinen Namen. Ihr Besuch der Innbrücke steht nun griffbereit in Ihrem Zuhause und mit jedem Öffnen der Flasche kommt Ihre Erinnerung daran zurück.
Dinge, die auf Reisen gekauft werden, sind - neben dem Fotografieren - das wichtigste Mittel, den flüchtigen Eindrücken einer Reise Dauerhaftigkeit zu verleihen. Das Souvenir speichert die persönlichen Erinnerungen seines Besitzers an Urlaub und Reise. Als nostalgisches Objekt transzendiert es Zeit, als exotisches Objekt transzendiert es Fernes und Fremdes, als illegal erworbenes oder geschmuggeltes Objekt transzendiert es Normen und Werte. Als Wohnungsschmuck ist es Ausdruck ästhetischen Empfindens und kann seinem Besitzer zur Kunstsammlung werden.
Das Souvenir ist ein Dokument von eigenem Erlebten:In der souvenirschöpfenden Erinnerungsmanufaktur kann man das auf die Innbrücke gehobenes Flußwasser zum „Eau de INN“ kredenzen und in elegante Flaschen als Souvenir abfüllen.

the tourist’s objects of desire created and how are they served to them? How do
the production processes of tourism work?
Things
that can be purchased on trips are – apart from photographs - the main means to
give durability to the fleeting impressions of a trip. The souvenir stores the
personal memories of its owner’s holidays. As a nostalgic object it transcends
time, as an exotic object it transcends distance and acquired as illegal or
smuggled object it transcends norms and values.
The
souvenir is a document of the own experience:

of Memories you can transform the water directly taken from the river Inn into
“Eau de Inn” and bottle it in elegant flacons to take it as a souvenir.
As it
says in the guidebooks, river and bridge give name to the city of Innsbruck. Now
you can bring your experience at the Inn bridge home and, with each opening of
the bottle, recall your memories.
